E.C.H.O. Member Code of Conduct
Each member of E.C.H.O. has a duty and responsibility to represent E.C.H.O. in professional and gentlemanlike manner. We each will serve to form others opinions of E.C.H.O. and therefore gain their respect and friendship. We are all ambassadors of the team and will be governed accordingly. The basics of the Code of Conduct are as follows:

All E.C.H.O. operators will conduct themselves with honor and integrity. Winning should always be secondary to the enjoyment of the operation, fellowship, and teamwork. Many of the other enthusiasts that we enjoy this sport with are younger (much younger) than most of us. E.C.H.O. operators will set the example, we “lead the way”. Words to live by.

Honesty
An E.C.H.O. operator does not cheat in any way at any time. This shows extremely poor judgment and unsportsmanlike conduct. Any instance of cheating could lead to sanctions or discharge from the team. Enough said.

Respect of Rules and Rank
E.C.H.O. operators should strive to act his role in a scenario or operation. He should diligently carry out orders, commands, and protocols. Guarding the rear flank may not be glamorous some times, but we all have to do it on occasion.

Non-Violence
No E.C.H.O. operator will ever resort to physical violence at any time. This would result in immediate discharge from the team.

Clean Language
E.C.H.O. operators shall never direct profanity at another player. Ideally, profanity should not be used on the field at all, but sometimes it doesn't work out that way. Again, we should remember that we “lead the way” and a good rule of thumb is to not say anything that you wouldn't say in front of your own children.

Consideration for Others
The golden rule-”Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. This is where an E.C.H.O. operator will really have a chance to help form others opinions of the team and cement our reputation as an elite squad. If someone gets the better of you and gets the kill, give them a compliment on the good shot or tactic that they used. This is already done by some E.C.H.O. operators and you can see how it has formed our reputation. It will come back a hundred fold.

Online disputes
This is extremely important. No member of E.C.H.O. should ever engage in an online dispute or “flame war” with anyone else. The only thing that is accomplished by this is making us look childish and immature. No member of E.C.H.O. should post any opinion on any forum that represents the position of E.C.H.O. on any matter without permission of the command element. This is especially true if your comments could be considered to be hostile or adversarial.
This topic is made especially complicated by the fact that you are trying to determine someone's intent by reading a typed message. Any disputes with any other groups or individuals shall be brought to the attention of the command element where they will be handled by the command element in a “face to face”. There is too much potential for damage to the reputation of this team if we do it any other way. Any violation of this provision may lead to sanctions or discharge from the team.

It comes down to this, realize that what you say or do is a direct reflection on E.C.H.O. Conduct yourself accordingly.
